Always check proper function before using. Ensure your chamber is
clear before function checking. Once assembled, the RAD drops
directly into a standard AR-15 receiver. When paired with a
mil-spec AR-15 2-position safety selector, the RAD will run in
“reset mode” only. Check that the long arm of the follower is in
the correct position and that it only contacts the trigger tail.
Check that the short arm of the follower sits correctly behind
the safety selector and isn’t binding with the pocket of the
lower receiver. Check that the hammer operates normally and does
not contact the RAD housing. When closing the upper receiver,
ensure the cam arm is in its forward-most position so as not to
interfere with the BCG.
